While I was in the southeastern part of the United States, I decided to take a break from all the historical aspects of my trip. While all of my adventures are a blast, I found myself really wanting to let loose and have a good time. So, I headed down to Florida for some amusement park fun, and my first stop was Universal Studios Orlando. What more could you want than rollercoasters and resorts.
Amusement Park Rides
First off, I’d like to start out by mentioning that I am a borderline adrenaline junkie, so rollercoasters provide some of my favorite experiences. With that being said, the details surrounding the themes of the rides at Universal Studios warrant the title of attraction, because they are much more than just a ride.
Being a huge Harry Potter fan, it was easy to pinpoint my favorite attractions in the park. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was simply amazing, and the Escape from Gringotts experience is unlike any other. It truly is a wonderful time to be alive, as this particular attraction combines a thrilling rollercoaster with a 3D motion simulator that truly represents the future of amusement park rides. In addition, I had to board the Hogwarts Express, and although it is primarily used to get from park to park, the train itself was one of my favorite parts of Universal Studios. Some of the other attractions I enjoyed were the Men In Black Alien Attack and the Revenge of the Mummy rollercoaster.
After a day full of amusement park fun, I wanted to sit down and enjoy a show. As I mentioned before, I am a huge fan of adrenaline-pumping activities; therefore, I decided to go to Fear Factor Live. I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I got there, I realized that this is an audience participation show. Needless to say, no one could match my willingness to partake in any activity they had in store… well, almost any activity. Once bugs and other creepy crawly creatures got involved, I was out. Overall, it was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life.
